JUICING GUIDE 🥤
Want a fresh twist on your juicing routine? Try the Kuvings smoothie strainer for a thicker, more refreshing result! This smoothie strainer is compatible with all vertical slow juicers and is super easy to use.
About the Smoothie Strainer
Although similar to a juicing strainer, a smoothie strainer has larger holes on the sides and bottom. These holes allow the ingredients to come out with a thicker texture than regular juice.
To ensure all the fruit ingredients are crushed properly, the smoothie strainer is equipped with a rubber cover that covers the pulp outlet hole on the juicer. With this, all the ingredients will be mixed perfectly to produce a smooth and creamy smoothie.
How to Use a Smoothie Strainer & Make the Perfect Smoothie
✅ Two Glasses of Smoothie
The juicer has a bowl capacity of 400ml , which is enough to make about two glasses of smoothie. Make sure you close the smart cap during the process so that the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
✅ One Glass of Liquid
Always add at least one cup of liquid first. This helps to mix the ingredients well so the smoothie is smooth and creamy.
✅ Add the ingredients little by little
Discard hard seeds, large seeds and inedible skin. Add the ingredients in small portions so the juicer can crush everything perfectly.
✅ One Glass of Green Leaves
Limit your green leafy greens to one cup per session. Avoid greens and celery stalks as they can interfere with the smoothie-making process.
✅ Start with Soft Materials
For best results, add soft ingredients first.
✅ Finish with Hard Material
The hard ingredients will help push the remaining soft ingredients together to mix thoroughly.
✅ Frozen Ingredients
If you are using frozen ingredients, be sure to thaw them for at least 10 minutes before using. The cold frozen ingredients will give your smoothie a thick, refreshing texture.
✅ Remaining Dregs
Don’t worry if you see pulp after you’re done making your smoothie — this is normal ! Your smoothie strainer is working properly and is designed to optimally strain pulp.
